  • Known as "Ten" cards because only the first Ten castings appear on the back of the card.
  • These are the first cards that Mattel created and printed, although not the first ones actually released.
  • Apparently these were put on hold and the 68H-B card was released first instead.
  • Conjecture is Mattel decided to use the 16-car-back cards for the first release, when sales skyrocketed everything was used, including these.
  • The cars in them are still early run cars, but more of the 2nd wave of production.
  • Very few are known and all are very rare.

  • The USA printed version of the "Cheetah" card appears here as it was also released with HK castings.
  • Conjecture is the same as the HK-Ten Cards, in order to meet skyrocketing demand they used USA cards in addition to the HK ones.
  • Why they could not just print more HK ones remains a mystery.
  • Very early casting features and variations can be found on these.
  • These are uncommon and are sought after by collectors.
